We all know that plants are great and they make any space have a refreshing vibe. But did you know that having these in the office or workplace has many benefits? There are studies that show that indoor plants:
- They help reduce stress, fatigue and flu symptoms.
- They help remove pollution from the air, absorbing toxins and producing oxygen.
- They make us happier.
- They help foster creativity and productivity.
If you don’t have a lot of experience with your office plants thriving, look for low-maintenance plants so they won’t be hurt if you forget to water them once or twice.
Here are some low-maintenance plants we recommend:
1. If your workplace has little light or your desk is in a cubicle, get a shade plant. Our recommendations: potos, philodendrons, zamioculcas and sansevieria trifasciata.
2. On the other side: if you sit by a window or your office has good natural light, some options are: fern, jade, echeveria glauca and any type of cactus.
3. You can also bring to your office some plants that help reduce air pollution. Our favorites: rubber plant, dracaenas peace lily and bird’s nest fern.
